We were recently called to inspect a CMC stabilization system that has been in service for over a decade. During the inspection, our team identified an electrical short that led to a PLC failure.After replacing the PLC and recalibrating the vessel’s roll period to 0.94 radians per second, the system was brought back online and operating smoothly. Twelve years on, the stabilization system continues to perform exactly as designed.This is the kind of long-term reliability and service support that defines CMC Marine.
